Kenny Lim, Business Analyst
Kenny Lim is Cognition360’s Business Analyst. He is responsible for supporting the Cognition360 team and gathering and analysing business requirements for Cognition360’s clients.
Kenny holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), with a major in finance, from the University of Auckland.
Prior to joining Cognition360 and associated company Xcellerate (an MSP accelerator), Kenny worked as a business analyst for a water cooler company, where he was responsible for gathering business requirements through facilitating workshops and interviews across multiple departments and stakeholders, and utilising documentation and workflow analysis. He produced several functional specifications that helped reduce time spent by users entering data in the company’s enterprise system from five minutes to one minute, and also reduced the training required for new staff to learn the process from three months to fifteen minutes. Kenny developed all the test scenarios, conducted the BA testing and oversaw the user acceptance testing on various different projects. Kenny also took the lead on simplifying an internal route optimisation process using VB script, which in turn saved the company seven hours a day and lead to a headcount reduction. He was also involved in using process mapping software to create the training and development documentation for multiple departments.
